"Milonga para la Milonga" with Andreas, Feb 8th & 15th....

We will continue to develop a sound technical basis of moving, leading and following in the way the milonga (lisa and traspie) demands. We will explore some new elements that can be adapted in different combinations to create a lively milonga..

Simplicity and musicality will be the core of our work.

The basic work will mainly be done in the Improvers class, and we will then build on that in the Intermediate class.

Coming up: Redland milongas on Friday 3rd Feb & Fri 17th Feb..8.30pm-midnight, just £8 ....new dancers are always welcome.

BEGINNERS & RECENT BEGINNERS/IMPROVERS CLASSES

Two new 6 week courses started on Sunday 8th January: Absolute Beginners and Recent Beginners/Improvers......these courses are now underway...

In March we will run two Special Sunday events for Beginners..Sunday 4th & Sun 11th ....details to be announced soon...

Our next 6 week courses will start on Sun 18th April (6 classes over 8 wks) Booking form to follow shortly.....

Later this year, we will run 6 week courses for Beginners & Improvers on the following dates: Jun 24th- Aug 5th; Sep 23rd- Nov 4th...

NB: if you have already attended a Beginners course with Tango West, you can attend the Beginners class for £8 or both classes on the same evening on a drop-in basis for just £12.

Tango West gives special attention to music, and is building a reputation far & wide for this. Many hours are spent prior to a Milonga preparing the music for the event. We believe this makes all the difference. Dancers are really starting to appreciate this. Of course it is presented in a structured way in Tandas with Cortinas,  and the all important 'Milonga Codes' are encouraged
