Our milongas feature :

Traditional Golden age tango, vals and milonga played in tandas with cortinas
the very best dance music played by Tango West DJ's, Andrew and Michele;
excellent floorcraft on a wonderful large parquet dance floor.
Tango etiquette practiced.
Refreshements/nibbles provided.

OUR SOCIAL EVENTS 

We host regular Milongas at the Redland Club, Burlington Rd, Bristol BS6 6TN. We aim to create the atmosphere of the Traditional Buenos Aires Milonga...featuring dancing to Golden Age
tango music, played in tandas with cortinas...encouraging good floorcraft and using tango etiquette including the cabeceo...

Redland Club is in Burlington Rd, at the top of Whiteladies Rd (going uphill, turm right between Lloyds and Barclays banks. The club is at the far end on the right)

Come and enjoy the real atmosphere of a Buenos Aires milonga and experience the mysteriously beguiling ambience created by this fascinating music from the Golden Age (1930's & 40's) when the orchestras were playing with dancing in mind and not just for listening. Our extensive library of music and our wealth of knowledge we use to surprise, interest and intrigue you.

SPECIAL EVENTS

These include Spring and Autumn Tea Dances, Summer Balls and Christmas events. We dance through long afternoons into twilight at our tea dances and enjoy atmospheric tango balls in the Summer and Winter seasons.


The etiquette and subtle manners of the dance from this bygone age form part of our tuition, to enable you to enjoy the delicious pleasure of tango.
